Singapore Violin Lessons And Programmes

Besides the regular 1-1 private teaching, I am happy to offer the special violin lessons schemes based on my many years of experience teaching children and adults alike.

Special Studio Programmes

• Violin for 2: Lessons conducted in a group of 2 students, include aural and ear training and basic theory, for beginners.
• Adult Learners: Basic violin techniques will be taught through songs, both contemporary and classical songs, instead of the traditional method of scales and drills.
• Appreciation for Piano and Violin: For young beginners who wish to have a feel of these two instruments before deciding which instrument to study. This is a one-year programme, starting with introduction piano and note reading, before embarking on the violin.
• School Holiday Camps: Chamber music lessons for students with at least Grade 3 competency. Students will like to play different parts together in an ensemble and enjoy music making with students playing at their level. This area is lacking in one-to-one studio teaching, chamber music experience is a fulfilling way to inspire and motivate interest.
